一、學(xué)科簡介 Introduction

本學(xué)科始建于交通大學(xué)1913年創(chuàng)立的電氣機(jī)械科，1921年建立機(jī)械科，自1956年開始招收研究生，是首批有權(quán)授予碩士和博士學(xué)位的學(xué)科，1998年獲得我國首批一級(jí)學(xué)科博士授予權(quán)，并擁有博士后流動(dòng)站。在教育部2008和2012年學(xué)科評(píng)估中均排名第一，2015年入選上海市I類高峰學(xué)科支持計(jì)劃，2017年教育部學(xué)科評(píng)估列為A+學(xué)科，并入選國家“雙一流”建設(shè)學(xué)科。

         Mechanical Engineering of SJTU can be dated back to the initation of the electromechanics branch by Jiao Tong University in 1913, which was later reorganized as the mechanical branch in 1921 and started to enroll graduate students in 1956 as one of the first disciplines entitled to have master and PhD programs. The discipline was amongst the first batch of universities in 1998 authorized to confer doctoral degree as well as postdoctoral fellows. The discipline ranked first in the discipline assessments by Ministry of Education in 2008 and 2012. In 2015, it was selected into “Shanghai Class I Peak Discipline Support Plan”. In 2017, it was ranked A+ in the discipline assessment and was selected as the national “Double First Class” academic discipline.

    本學(xué)科覆蓋了機(jī)械制造及自動(dòng)化、機(jī)械設(shè)計(jì)及理論、機(jī)械電子工程和車輛工程等4個(gè)rr本學(xué)科設(shè)有制造技術(shù)與裝備自動(dòng)化、智能制造與信息工程、機(jī)器人、重大裝備設(shè)計(jì)與控制工程、生物醫(yī)學(xué)制造與生命質(zhì)量工程、機(jī)電控制與物流裝備、機(jī)電設(shè)計(jì)與知識(shí)工程、振動(dòng)沖擊噪聲、薄板結(jié)構(gòu)制造、智能汽車10個(gè)研究所。擁有機(jī)械系統(tǒng)與振動(dòng)國家重點(diǎn)實(shí)驗(yàn)室、汽車電子控制技術(shù)國家工程實(shí)驗(yàn)室、振動(dòng)沖擊噪聲國防重點(diǎn)學(xué)科實(shí)驗(yàn)室，以及復(fù)雜薄板結(jié)構(gòu)數(shù)字化制造、網(wǎng)絡(luò)制造與企業(yè)信息化兩個(gè)上海市重點(diǎn)實(shí)驗(yàn)室。已形成175人的專職教師隊(duì)伍，包括院士2人、973首席科學(xué)家5人、國家特聘專家3人、長江特聘教授8人、杰青7人、優(yōu)青8人。學(xué)科中青年學(xué)術(shù)隊(duì)伍積極服務(wù)國家先進(jìn)制造領(lǐng)域發(fā)展戰(zhàn)略，在國內(nèi)外產(chǎn)生了重要影響。

        Department of mechanical engineering covers 4 subdisciplines: mechanical manufacturing and automation, mechanical design and theory, mechatronic engineering, and vehicle engineering. There are 10 research institutes in the department, including Manufacturing Technology and Equipment Automation, Intelligent Manufacturing and Information Engineering, Robotics, Design and Control Engineering for Heavy Equipment, Biomedical Manufacturing and Life Quality Engineering, Mechatronics & Logistics Equipment, Mechatronics Design and Knowledge-based Engineering, Vibration, Shock & Noise, Manufacture for Thin-walled Structures, and Intelligent Vehicles. The main research laboratories in the department include the State Key Laboratory of Mechanical System and Vibration, the National Engineering Laboratory for Automotive Electronic Control Technology, the National Defense Key Discipline Laboratory of Vibration Shock & Noise, Shanghai Key Laboratory of Digital Manufacture for Thin-walled Structures, and Shanghai Key Laboratory of Networked Manufacturing and Enterprise Information.So far, there are 175 full-time faculty members, including 2 academicians, 5 Chief Scientists of National 973 Program, 3 National Distinguished Professors, 8 Cheung Kong Distinguished Professors, 7 Distinguished Young Scholars and 8 Outstanding Young Scholars.

    本學(xué)科致力于培養(yǎng)具有“開闊的國際視野、強(qiáng)烈的創(chuàng)新意識(shí)、系統(tǒng)的知識(shí)結(jié)構(gòu)、綜合的實(shí)踐能力、團(tuán)隊(duì)的合作精神、自信的溝通能力”的機(jī)械工程學(xué)科高層次科學(xué)技術(shù)研究及管理人才。一百多年來，服務(wù)國家創(chuàng)新發(fā)展戰(zhàn)略和國家需求，培養(yǎng)了兩彈一星功臣錢學(xué)森、全國人大副委員長嚴(yán)雋琪等一大批技術(shù)專家和治國英才，其中兩院院士21人，大批培養(yǎng)學(xué)生在制造、動(dòng)力、能源、航空航天等重點(diǎn)領(lǐng)域行業(yè)擔(dān)任重要職務(wù)或技術(shù)骨干。

        This department aims to cultivate outstanding talents in R&D as well as management in mechanical engineering, featured with "broad international vision, strong innovation consciousness, professional knowledge structure, comprehensive practical ability, team spirit and confident communication ability". In the past over 100 years, nearly 30,000 students have graduated from the department to serve the nation with innovation, research and development, including Tsien Hsue-shen, Yan Junqi, and 21 academicians. Many alumni have played important roles in key industries such as manufacturing, power, energy, and aerospace, etc.

二、培養(yǎng)目標(biāo) Program Objective

碩博連讀生以培養(yǎng)博士生為最終目標(biāo)，用最優(yōu)化的時(shí)間、最優(yōu)化的課程設(shè)計(jì)來培養(yǎng)出積極為國家服務(wù)、具有獨(dú)立從事科學(xué)研究工作能力、能在科學(xué)或?qū)ｉT技術(shù)上做出創(chuàng)造性成果的人才。

學(xué)生畢業(yè)時(shí)應(yīng)達(dá)到：

1、具有扎實(shí)的數(shù)理基礎(chǔ)理論知識(shí)，深入的機(jī)械工程相關(guān)方向基礎(chǔ)知識(shí)，熟悉學(xué)科的進(jìn)展、動(dòng)向和最新發(fā)展前沿；

2、掌握解決工程問題的現(xiàn)代研究方法與實(shí)驗(yàn)技術(shù)，具有應(yīng)用理論和方法對相關(guān)專業(yè)方向工程科學(xué)及技術(shù)問題的理解和合理分析的能力；

3、具有較強(qiáng)的創(chuàng)新意識(shí)，具有在本學(xué)科某一方向取得理論或?qū)嵺`上取得創(chuàng)造性研究成果；

4、至少精通一門外國語，能熟練地閱讀本專業(yè)外文資料，具有較強(qiáng)的寫作能力和進(jìn)行國際學(xué)術(shù)交流的能力。

5、具備較強(qiáng)的學(xué)術(shù)素養(yǎng)和工程實(shí)踐能力，良好的職業(yè)道德和社會(huì)責(zé)任感。

With the ultimate goal of cultivating doctoral students, the program uses the optimized time and optimized curriculum to nurture innovative talents who can independently engage in scientific research.

Upon graduation, you will:

1. Have the firm mathematical foundation, in-depth fundamental knowledge in mechanical engineering and related areas, and be familiar with the progress, trends and latest development of the discipline;

2. Master the modern research methods and experimental techniques to solve engineering problems, and have the ability to apply theories and approaches to understand and reasonably analyze engineering science and technical issues in related professional directions;

3. Have a strong sense of innovation, and get creative achievements in theory or practice in a specific path of the discipline;

4. Show proficiency in at least one foreign language, read foreign language literature of your major fluently, and have good skills in writing and international academic communicating;

5. Have good academic accomplishment and engineering practice ability, professional ethics and social responsibility.

三、培養(yǎng)方式及學(xué)習(xí)年限 Training Mode and Study Duration

碩博連讀生學(xué)習(xí)年限為6-8年。其中，碩士階段為1.5至2年，博士階段為4年，博士階段可以延期到6年。是全日制方式培養(yǎng)。

碩博連讀生的課程學(xué)習(xí)由碩士課程和博士課程兩部分組成，碩士階段的課程在第一年完成，博士階段課程在成功轉(zhuǎn)博后的第一年完成，總的課程學(xué)習(xí)時(shí)間不超過兩年。

The length of full-time Combined Master and Doctoral Program (Master Level) is 4 years. Master level lasts 1.5~2 years while doctoral level lasts 4 years with a maximum length of 6 years.

Students should complete master level coursework in the first year and complete doctoral level coursework within thefirst year after transferring to doctoral level. The maximum length of coursework should last no longer than 2 years.

四、碩士階段課程學(xué)習(xí)要求 Course Requirement

    全日制碩博連讀生（碩士階段），課程總學(xué)分≥23學(xué)分。本院開設(shè)的全英文課程、專業(yè)前沿課，至少選擇2門。其中：選擇GPA統(tǒng)計(jì)源的課程≥16學(xué)分，GPA≥2.7方可以進(jìn)入博士階段。
        Full-time Combined Master and Doctor Degree Program (Master Level). Minimum credits: 23 credits, including at least 16 credits from GPA courses. Students whose GPA of the GPA courses is above 2.7 are eligible for doctoral study.

 1.公共基礎(chǔ)課程  9.5學(xué)分
     General Courses. 9.5 credits.

  a. MARX6001新時(shí)代中國特色社會(huì)主義理論與實(shí)踐，2學(xué)分，必修
      MARX6001 The Theory and Practice of Socialism in China, 2 credits, compulsory.

  b. MARX6003自然辯證法概論，1學(xué)分，必修
      MARX6003 Dialectic  of  Nature, 1 credit, compulsory.

  c. FL6001學(xué)術(shù)英語，2學(xué)分，必修
      FL6001 English for Academic Purposes, 2 credits, compulsory.

  d. GE6001學(xué)術(shù)寫作、規(guī)范與倫理，1學(xué)分，必修，院系開課
      GE6001 Academic Writing, Norms and Ethics, 1 credit, compulsory, offered by ME.

   e. GE6003 實(shí)驗(yàn)室安全教育，0.5學(xué)分，必修，院系開課

      GE6003 Laboratory Safety Education，0.5 credit, compulsory, offered by ME school.

   f. 數(shù)學(xué)課，數(shù)學(xué)公共基礎(chǔ)課至少修習(xí)1門、學(xué)分不限，必修

       Mathematical courses, compulsory.


 2.專業(yè)前沿課：GE6011 學(xué)術(shù)報(bào)告會(huì)，1學(xué)分，必修，須在碩士階段完成修讀
       Frontier Course.
       GE6011, Academic Seminar, 1 credit, compulsory.

 3.專業(yè)基礎(chǔ)課：至少修習(xí)6學(xué)分
        Core Courses, at least 6 credits.

博士課程學(xué)習(xí)計(jì)劃參照對應(yīng)的博士生培養(yǎng)方案制定，在轉(zhuǎn)為博士生后正式取得博士學(xué)號(hào)、進(jìn)入博士階段后再選擇。

The doctoral level training plan should be made referring to the corresponding docotoral training scheme after transferring to doctoral level. 

五、過程管理培養(yǎng)過程要求 Training Requirement

培養(yǎng)過程中的主要時(shí)間節(jié)點(diǎn)如下：

（一）碩博連讀生的碩士階段

1、第一學(xué)年（第1、第2學(xué)期）：以課程學(xué)習(xí)為主。碩博連讀生入學(xué)后，通過三周的時(shí)間熟悉導(dǎo)師及研究方向等，之后完成意向?qū)煹碾p選匹配。

2、第二學(xué)年（第3、第4期）：準(zhǔn)備和進(jìn)行資格考試、正式確定導(dǎo)師。

學(xué)院每年組織二次博士生資格考試，大多數(shù)同學(xué)安排在秋季10月開始，少數(shù)同學(xué)和秋季考試不及格的同學(xué)可以選擇在春季4月份參加資格考試。資格考試允許補(bǔ)考一次。

資格考試通過后，方能轉(zhuǎn)入博士階段培養(yǎng)。 學(xué)院將根據(jù)學(xué)校的要求組織已通過博士生資格考試（含一次通過和二次通過的）同學(xué)進(jìn)行網(wǎng)上申報(bào)和博士資格確認(rèn)（博士生入學(xué)復(fù)試）、確定導(dǎo)師。                                                                                             

3、碩博連讀生轉(zhuǎn)博和分流（第5學(xué)期初）

（1）通過資格考試、并通過博士生入學(xué)復(fù)試的同學(xué)正式進(jìn)入博士培養(yǎng)階段，轉(zhuǎn)為博士生。

（2）二次博士生資格考試均未通過、經(jīng)學(xué)院審核后轉(zhuǎn)為按碩士生培養(yǎng)（開題、中期考核等過程質(zhì)控參照學(xué)校對學(xué)術(shù)碩士的要求），轉(zhuǎn)為碩士生的，學(xué)習(xí)年限為三年半，優(yōu)秀者可申請?zhí)崆爱厴I(yè)。

（3）不適合進(jìn)行碩士學(xué)位學(xué)習(xí)和研究工作的，可選擇退學(xué)。

（二）博士階段（第5學(xué)期及以后）

正式取得博士學(xué)籍、進(jìn)入博士階段后將按博士生的相關(guān)規(guī)定培養(yǎng)。

The training process are summarized as follows:

Ⅰ Master level

1. The first academic year (1st and 2nd semester): Focusing on coursework. After enrollment, students learns about supervisors and their research background within three weeks, and then complete the double-way matching.

2. The second academic year (3rd and 4th semester): Preparing for and attending Ph.D. Qualification Examination and select supervisor .

Two Ph.D. Qualification Examination are held each academic year. Most students are scheduled to attend it in October. A few students and those who fail the first time can choose to take the it in next April.

Only those who pass the exam can transfer to doctoral level. According to the requirements of SJTU, ME school will organize students who have passed the Ph.D. Qualification Examination to apply  for admission and select supervisor online.

3.Students transfer and diversion (at the beginning of the 5th semester)

(1) Students who pass the Ph.D. Qualification Examination and interview will formally enter into the  doctoral level.

(2) Those who fail Ph.D. Qualification Examination two times will be transferred as master students after the school's review (training scheme refers to the school's requirements for academic master studnets). Outstanding students can apply for early graduation during the three and a half years study.

(3) Those who are not suitable for master study and research work can choose to quit the program.

Ⅱ Doctoral degree (since 5th semester)

After entering into doctoral level, students shall follow the requirements of the relevant regulations of doctoral students training.
