依據(jù)《上海交通大學(xué)研究生培養(yǎng)管理規(guī)定》（滬交研〔2023〕79）第十六條“每學(xué)期開學(xué)時(shí)，研究生應(yīng)當(dāng)按學(xué)校規(guī)定日期辦理注冊(cè)手續(xù)。因故不能如期注冊(cè)的，應(yīng)當(dāng)在規(guī)定注冊(cè)日期前向?qū)W院提出申請(qǐng)，辦理暫緩注冊(cè)手續(xù)，批準(zhǔn)后方為有效。暫緩注冊(cè)時(shí)間一般不超過2周，暫緩注冊(cè)期間不享有在校生權(quán)益。無正當(dāng)理由逾期2周未完成注冊(cè)手續(xù)的，視為應(yīng)予退學(xué)情形。”，該生（YUTA SHIOTANI）自2025年春季學(xué)期起未注冊(cè)也未履行暫緩注冊(cè)手續(xù)，作應(yīng)予退學(xué)處理。陳述和申辯時(shí)間地點(diǎn)為：

According to Article 30 of the Provisions on the Administration of Students in Regular Institutions of Higher Education (Order of the Ministry of Education, PR China, No. 41) and ItemⅠ, Article 43 of the SJTU Regulations on Graduate Education and Management (HJY [2023] No.79) on the termination of student status, “The student has neither registered within the prescribed time limit nor applied for extension for registration”, your student status will be terminated and you are requested to withdraw from the university. Please contact the following contact person and complete the necessary procedures. If you have any objection to this request, please appeal with relevant facts, excuses, and evidence at the time and venue as specified below. If no feedback is heard from you within the specified time limit, you will be deemed to have no objection to the request to withdraw from the university.

According to Article 16 of the SJTU Regulations on Graduate Education and Management (HJY{2023}No.79): “At the beginning of each semester, graduate students should go through the registration procedures on the date set by the school. If you cannot register as scheduled for some reason, you should apply to the college before the prescribed registration date and go through the formalities for deferred registration, and it will be valid after approval. The postponement of registration generally does not exceed 2 weeks, and students do not enjoy the rights of school students during the postponement of registration. Those who fail to complete the registration procedures within 2 weeks without proper reason shall be subject to withdrawal.”, the above mentioned student (YUTA SHIOTANI) has not registered and has not fulfilled the deferred registration procedures since Spring Semester 2025, and should be treated as a withdrawal.
