Short Bio: Dr. Leilai Shao is an Associate Professor and Ph.D. Advisor at SJTU, ME Department. From 2011-2015, Leilai obtained bachelor's degree from ZJU; he obtained M.S. and Ph.D. degree from UC, Santa Barbara at 2018 and 2020 correspondingly. During 2020-2021, he joined Facebook as a data scientist and, after 2021, he joined SJTU as a full time assistant professor. During his Ph.D. studies, he collaborated closely with HP Labs, Facebook and Tencent，and his research focuses on VLSI design for emerging devices，flexible electronics，EDA and ML. He has published >20 papers in premiums conferences and journals, including multiple Invited Papers, 8 first/co-first papers, including Nature Communications, IEEE/ACM Design&Test, IEEE/ACM DAC, IEEE DATE, IEEE ASP-DAC. Also, he received Best Paper Award Nominations at IEEE DATE 2018, which is one of the top tier EDA conferences.
