3) Check if GPA is higher than 2.7.

Submit the form (Attachment 1) to Ms. HAO, Graduate Affairs Office, Room 102 Mechanical Building A.

Upload thesis online with supervisor’s approval

1) The chance of duplication check is only ONCE, please make sure to upload the exact final version and the required format.

2) If you failed in duplication check, you cannot go on with next steps.

SJTU/ME school sample check and blind Review

Jan. 2, 2024

1) If you passed the repetition check, please do Sample Check on the system.

2) If you are sampled, your thesis will be sent by SJTU or ME school for blind review.

Expert review

Within 2-3 weeks

1) After passing repetition check, contact secretary to send thesis for expert review.

2) Please ask your supervisor to find two experts in advance and then tell their names to your secretary.

Submit the defense application online and prepare the defense materials

At least 3-5 days before defense

Prerequisite:

1) Pass the repetition check

2) Pass expert review

3) Thesis has been sent out for blind review.

Jan. 22-25, 2024

Secretary will keep you informed of the detailed arrangement.

Second Defense

Between

Feb. 19-23, 2024

If your defense result is ranked as last 15%, please attend the second defense.

Upload thesis online for filing

Feb. 26, 2024

The final thesis for online filing cannot be modified after upload. Please be very cautious.
