On the afternoon of September 18, 2025, the School of Mechanical Engineering at Shanghai Jiao Tong University organized international students from nearly ten countries to visit SBT Ultrasonic Technology Co., Ltd. for a study tour. The event, jointly hosted by the school’s Alumni Office and the Students Affairs Information Service Office, aimed to provide international students with an in-depth understanding of cutting-edge industry developments and inspire their academic interests through on-site enterprise inspections.

During the event, Dr. Miao, an expert from the company, introduced development history and core business operations of SBT Ultrasonic. He detailed the company’s journey from its establishment in 2007 to its successful IPO in 2022, with a focus on the technical features and application fields of core products such as ultrasonic metal welding equipment and ultrasonic testing devices. When discussing the company’s business, Dr. Miao emphasized the central role of "service" in its corporate strategy. He engaged in in-depth discussions with the students on topics such as service philosophy and resource investment, noting that the company’s service network has expanded globally and there is an urgent need for international talent proficient in both technology and local overseas cultures.

Following the presentation, the students observed the company’s production line operations. In this practical context, Dr. Miao further explained the fundamental principles of ultrasonic technology and its significant advantages in real-world applications from a professional perspective. The students showed keen interest and actively asked questions about the company’s future development plans and talent recruitment needs, creating a lively atmosphere.

The event concluded with a group photo between the international students and the company’s experts. The students unanimously expressed that this visit not only allowed them to witness the cutting-edge applications of ultrasonic technology and experience the production environment firsthand but also provided a clearer understanding of the broad prospects and talent demands in the high-end equipment manufacturing industry.
