In order to promote cultural exchange between China and other countries, showcase the positive spirit and outstanding achievements of our international students, and establish exemplary models among them, the university has decided to hold the selection for ‘the Star of International Student’ in SJTU 2025. The relevant matters concerning the selection process are hereby notified as follows：

為促進(jìn)中外文化交流，展現(xiàn)我校留學(xué)生積極向上的精神風(fēng)貌，樹立優(yōu)秀留學(xué)生典型，學(xué)校決定舉辦2025年上海交通大學(xué)“留學(xué)生之星”評選活動。現(xiàn)將評選活動的有關(guān)事項通知如下：

1. Eligibility 評選對象

Candidates must be full-time degree-seeking international students currently enrolled with student status at Shanghai Jiao Tong University.

具有上海交通大學(xué)學(xué)籍的全日制學(xué)位留學(xué)生。

2. Selection Criteria 評選標(biāo)準(zhǔn)

● Candidates must demonstrate good moral character, uphold excellent conduct, and have no record of disciplinary violations or punishments during their enrollment.

參評人思想端正、作風(fēng)優(yōu)良，在校期間無違紀(jì)違規(guī)行為，未受過任何處分。

● Candidates must demonstrate outstanding academic performance and possess strong learning and research capabilities.

參評人學(xué)業(yè)優(yōu)秀，具備較強(qiáng)的學(xué)習(xí)和研究能力。

● Candidates must have an excellent record in areas such as promoting understanding and friendship between China and other countries, volunteering, innovation and entrepreneurship, or campus cultural activities.

參評人需在知華友華、推動中外友誼、志愿服務(wù)、創(chuàng)新創(chuàng)業(yè)、校園文化等方面表現(xiàn)優(yōu)異。

● In principle, international students who have previously received 'the Star of International Student' in SJTU are not eligible to apply again.

原則上已獲得往屆上海交通大學(xué)“留學(xué)生之星”榮譽稱號的留學(xué)生不再參評。

3.  Selection Procedure 選拔程序

Students intending to participate in the selection must register by Friday, October 17. Our school will select candidates based on the registration status (if necessary, an in-person interview will be organized), one final candidate will be recommended to the university for selection. Further details will be announced again later.

擬參加評選的同學(xué)須在10月17日（星期五）前進(jìn)行報名。學(xué)院將根據(jù)報名情況進(jìn)行選拔（如有必要將組織線下面試），最終確定1名候選人推薦至學(xué)校參與選拔。具體信息后續(xù)會再次進(jìn)行通知。

4.  Application Materials 申請材料

All materials must be submitted through the registration link. The list of required materials and their corresponding requirements are as follows:

所有材料均通過報名鏈接提交，材料清單及相應(yīng)要求如下：

●  Recommendation Form, see Attachment in registration link.

推薦表，見報名鏈接中的附件。

●  Academic transcript, issued and officially stamped by the school’s Academic Affairs Office.

成績單，由學(xué)院教務(wù)辦出具并加蓋公章。

●  One essay about 'My Story of Staying in China' (title is flexible). The recommended language for writing is Chinese, with a minimum of 2000 words.

一篇“我的留華故事”，題目不限，寫作語言建議為中文，字?jǐn)?shù)不少于2000字。

●  One personal resume, starting from high school education. The recommended language is Chinese.

個人簡歷一份，自高中階段開始，建議使用中文。

●  One formal, bareheaded, front-facing ID photo of the candidate, along with other life photos (3-5 photos, each larger than 1MB) that reflect the candidate's exemplary deeds and spiritual outlook.

正面免冠證件照1張，其他能夠反映參選個人先進(jìn)事跡和精神風(fēng)貌的生活照3～5張（大小1Mb以上）。

●  Other supporting materials: Relevant award certificates, proof of participation in activities, and other relevant supporting documents.

其他材料：相關(guān)獲獎證明、活動證明以及其他相關(guān)證明材料。

5.  Honors and awards 榮譽與獎勵

Winners will be awarded the honorary title of  'the Star of International Student' in SJTU or 'the Star of International Student' Nomination Award. The university will present an honorary certificate and a prize to each winner.

獲獎?wù)邔⒈皇谟枭虾＝煌ù髮W(xué)“留學(xué)生之星”或“留學(xué)生之星”提名獎榮譽稱號，學(xué)校為每位獲獎?wù)哳C發(fā)榮譽證書和獎品。
